<p>PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of the S/N of a reproduced signal at the time of standard reproducing by detecting an error amt. of the reproduced signal in reproducing one track twice with plural same azimuth heads for rotary scanning and performing a tape feed phase control in order not to reproduce the next adjacent tracks. CONSTITUTION:One recording track is scanned by two same azimuth heads out of reproducing only heads 4 and 5 and recording and reproducing head 2 and 3, and the deviation direction of scanning of the heads for a recording track is discriminated by an error amt. of a signal to be reproduced from both heads 2 and 4 or 3 and 5 respectively, and then the phase in the traveling direc tion of the tape 1 is controlled not to reproduce the next adjacent tracks. By this method, the deterioration of a reproduced signal in S/N due to a deformed track or the like improved.</p> |
