<p>Auxialiary fitting, e.g. a sleeve, bend etc. for joining together pipes e.g. in a central heating piping system provided near at least one end with a groove in which a loose strip of soft solder is inserted and which extends over the whole or almost the whole periphery of the wall of the fittinga t its inner edge, in such a away that the fixing of a pipe fitting and pushed into such end can be achieved by simply heating externally without the use of further soldering flux.</p> |
