PURPOSE:To efficiently perform the replacing operation of a die and at the same time prevent the uneven locking from occurring over the whole periphery of the die by a method wherein each piston rod is made possible to be reciprocated between its forward locking end to abut against a tapered face and its backward opening end to release said abutment. CONSTITUTION:The reciprocating direction of each piston rod 22 is the radial direction of a die ring 12. To the tip of the piston rod 22, a wedge 23 formed by a tapered face 24 is integrally mounted. A part of each wedge 23 is made slidable against the guide groove 15 of a die head main body 14. A tip piece 16 having a tapered face 16a, which is abutable against the tapered face 24 of the wedge 23, is detachably mounted to the part of the lower edge face near the outer periphery of the die ring 12. The wedge 23 is made to reciprocate between its forward locking end, at which both the tapered face 16a and 24 abut against each other, and its backward opening end, at which said abutment is released. Thus, the die ring can easily be attached to and detached from the die main body. |
