Self-adhesive strip of preformed shims for a roof, characterised in that it consists of a machined strip having equidistant deformations 7 in the shape of an inverted U, separated by a pitch which can be equal to the pitch of the ribs of the roofing sheets, these deformations 7 being stiffened laterally by crimps 8 and pierced in each case with an upper opening 9 for the fixing of the sheets forming the roof, in that each upper opening 9 also constitutes a lightening of the assembly of the strip of preformed shims, and finally in that the strip has on its inner face, in contact with each purlin of the roof, self-adhesive zones by means of which these shims can be fixed easily and quickly. <IMAGE>
