PURPOSE:To make it possible to shorten an inspecting time and to perform scanning in arbitrary times by immediately adding the picked-up scanned data to the added average value of the scanned data at the same position in an image memory without storing said data into an external memory device. CONSTITUTION:The data obtained by the first scanning are not stored into an external memory device once but immediately stored in an image memory. The data obtained in the second scanning are not stored in the external memory but inputted into an additive averaging device. The data are added to the corresponding data among the first data which are stored in the image memory sequentially, and and averaging is performed. The added and averaged value is stored in the image memory in place of the first data. Thereafter, the same processing is performed in each succeeding scanning. At the time when the scannings of specified times are finished, the added and averaged value of at each time of scanning is stored in the image memory. |
