DEVICE FOR PREVENTING NONLINEAR DISTORTION OF SPEAKER

PURPOSE:To limit a level of a signal in a nonlinear distortion region by filtering a signal of a frequency band at which the amplitude of a speaker is increased with a filter circuit, adjusting the level and subtracting the resulting signal from a signalbefore band limit processing. CONSTITUTION:An input signal from an input terminal 1 is adjusted for its level by an electronic volume 2a and the resulting level is fed to an LPF 3 and a BPF 4. Then the signal subject to band limit by the LPF 3 and the BPF 4 is adjusted by electronic volumes 2b-2c. Then the signal whose level is adjusted by the electronic volumes 2b-2c is subtracted from the output of the electronic volume 2b by a subtractor 5 to adjust the signal of a nonlinear region. Thus, nonlinear distortion of the speaker 9 is prevented.
