PURPOSE:To enable a single ID card to be utilized commonly in automatic transaction devices for multiple application by reading data recorded on the ID card, setting read data as new registration data in the automatic transaction device, and permitting the transaction of an unregistered ID card. CONSTITUTION:A card reader 24 reads specific data recorded on the ID card 18, and controls and manages the read data by a CPU 21. As the specific data at that time, card specification to specify a server, a card number, a card valid term, a birth date..., etc., are recorded. The CPU 21 permits the transaction of the ID card when the read data is registration data, and sets the read data as the new registration data of a video rental machine 11 when the read data is the unregistered data, and permits the transaction of the unregistered ID card 18. In such a way, the ID card, even when it being the unregistered ID card, can be applied in transaction devices for multiple application by permitting the transaction. |
