PURPOSE:To increase the rigidity of motor system and to improve the efficiency by providing a ring type elastic body, a guide mechanism and an exciting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A linear vibration motor comprises a supporting member 6 for supporting the central section of a ring type elastic body 1, a guide support 7 for a moving body 3, a roller 8 and a ball 9 for receiving the load, and a supporting member 10 therefor. The elastic body 1 is formed by first and second flat board sections facing each other, and a curved board section for coupling them. By such arrangement, the node of vibration, i.e., the central section, can be secured firmly. |
