PURPOSE:To improve operability related to focusing by providing a focusing mechanism, its driving source and a means which controls the driving source on receiving an instruction signal from a remote controller. CONSTITUTION:This projector device is provided with the focusing mechanism 12 moving its focus lens 51 in an optical axis direction in a projecting lens system, the driving source 161 driving the focusing mechanism and the control means which controls the driving source 161 on receiving the instruction signal from the remote controller 3. Consequently, focusing in the projecting lens system can be easily performed away from the projector device 1 while viewing a video on a screen 6. Thus, danger accompanied with focusing at a height is eliminated, adjusting operations are facilitated and the adjusting time is shortened. |
