This device is of the type including a transmitter 13 reacting to the manual control of a linkage for operating the manual gearbox 3, an electronic exploitation and control circuit 5 reacting to the transmitter and a device 9 for actuating the clutch 2, controlled by the electronic circuit 5. Arranged in the force transmission line of the operating linkage 6, between a knob 8 and the gearbox 3, is an intermediate elastic member 12 the deformation of which, during manual operation of the gearbox 3, measures the actuating force acting on the knob 8, the transmitter is an analogue measuring device 13, and produces a measurement signal representing the amplitude of the operating force and the electronic circuit 5 compares the meausurement signal with at least one given operating threshold signal and operates the device 9 for actuating the clutch as a function of this comparison. <IMAGE> |
