Corrugated sheet 1, especially for the production of roofs, or in general, of roofing for buildings, which comprises a cement-based matrix 4 which includes an upper surface 2 and a lower surface 3, a reinforcement 5 constituted by networks of polypropylene fibres embedded within this matrix 4, characterised in that the upper surface 2 of the cement-based matrix 4 is covered with a protective covering 6 which comprises at least one layer of varnish adhering to the surface 2 in question, this varnish being of the type which is elastic, impermeable to liquids, permeable to gases and resistant to alkalies, to ultraviolet radiation and to atmospheric agents. <IMAGE>
