A packaged fish roe which comprises a body of container of a resin having oxygen barrier properties; an upper cover of a resin having oxygen barrier properties, for hermetically sealing the container; fish roes accommodated in the container; hygroscopic and water absorptive sheet-like materials for completely isolating the fish roes from the entire internal surface of the body and the cover; and an oxygen scavenger accommodated in the container is herein disclosed. This packaged fish roe is excellent in storability and retention of the taste and texture of the roe packed therein even when the fish roe is repeatedly frozen and thawed.
