<p>The invention relates to a proanthocyanidol-based composition, notably of vegetable origin, characterized by a weight ratio of at least 50 % in molecules having an apparent molecule weight greater than 2000, said proportion being made up of at least 40 % proanthocyanidols, their percentage being expressed as a tannate function, and by the fact that said composition is essentially free from aromatic essences, in particular essential oils, of resins and other lipophilic substances; of polymerized sugars such as starch, gums, and cellulose derivates; of oligomer sugars, such as saccharose, glucose, and fructose. The invention also relates to the use of said composition in pharmaceutical compositions.</p> |
