The hydraulic fluid constituting the prim. flow is fed to a regulating valve (8) which holds the pressure of the fluid flowing away from it, the prim. flow being determined by a throttle (32) through which the fluid passes on its way to a pump (5). The regulating valve (8) is controlled by the saw chain lubricant requirement. It is assigned a drive arrangement (22), activated by the fluid, for a pump (23) which impels lubricant to the chain. The drive arrangement and the pump are so formed that a specific relation exists between the flow of the driving fluid and the lubricant flow. The drive arrangement drives a flow which is considerably greater than the lubricant flowing from the pump. Both the pump (23) and the drive arrangement (22) are piston-cylinder devices (28,29,24,27) mechanically coupled to each other. @(13pp Dwg.No.2/2)@ |
