The battery pack has a box shaped housing (1) with a hinged lid (5) that provides access to two rows of battery cells (3) that are located side by side. The two rows are inserted with the terminals (6, 7) facing each other. Interconnection of negative (6) and positive (7) terminals in provided by basbars (13) with 'U' shaped spring contact clips (10, 11). Closure of the lid presses the contacts into engagement with the terminals. ADVANTAGE - Simplifies access to battery cells. |
