<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition useful as a medicine, etc., in high yield and high purity by subjecting L-ascorbic acid or salt thereof to phosphorylation and then heating the reaction liquid for converting a reaction by-product to L-ascorbic acid and then again carrying out phosphorylation. CONSTITUTION:L-ascorbic acid or salt thereof or L-ascorbic acid in which protecting groups are bonded at 5 and 6 positions or salt thereof is subjected to phosphorylation reaction with a phosphorus oxyhalide and then the resultant L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate-containing reaction liquid is subjected to heating treatment at 60 to 100 deg.C for 5 to 100min and the treated reaction liquid is repeatedly subjected to phosphorylation reaction with the phosphorus oxyhalide to provide the objective compound.</p> |
