A display signal is transmitted between a main station and a secondary station in a traffic control system. The main station has a transformer (31) with a pair of secondary connections (A, B) coupled to other transformers (24, 29), that have indicator lamps connected (21, 25) and also connects with the transformer (32) of the secondary station. The transformer is coupled to a transmitter with an aerial (40, 35). The signal detectors (21, 25) indicates that the connections between the main station and the secondary station are intact. Switches (23, 27) control the activation. ADVANTAGE - Simplifies signal transmission in traffic signalling for railways.
