PURPOSE:To suppress power consumption by sending a control data together with a voice so as to control mutual transmission outputs thereby avoiding a transmission output from being increased over a required value. CONSTITUTION:An intensity detection section 10 detects the electric field strength from a signal received by a reception section 6 and an A/D converter section 11 converts the detected electric field strength into a digital signal. A control section 12 calculates a control data controlling the transmission output of a transmission destination radio communication equipment based on the digital signal and outputs the data to a modulator 3 to send the control data with a voice signal. Then a control signal to adjust the transmission output is outputted to a transmission output control section 13 in response to the con trol data demodulated from the reception signal at a demodulation section 7. Thus, the transmission output of the radio communication equipment of the communication opposite party is controlled in response to the detection of the electric field strength and the transmission output does not reach a required level or over. Thus, the power consumption of each radio communica tion equipment is suppressed. |
