PURPOSE:To perform the switching of the driving system with small load, by providing releasably a sliding member containing a damping part to the feed and takeup reel tables of a magnetic tape and a member that prevent a contact between a reel driving means and a reel table. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 37 of an idler 38 is set in a triangular hole 45 of an idler control slide 45 provided at the center part between the reel tables 11 and 12. When the slide 45 is set at the lowest edge, the shaft 37 touches a slant surface 45-b of the hole 45. As a result, the idler 38 has no contact with the tables 11 and 12 although a reel driving rib 26 turns. When the idler 38 moves up and the control of the surface 45-b to the shaft 37 is released, the idler 38 presses one of the tables 11 and 12 according to the turning direction of the rib 26. Thus the fast forwarding and fast rewinding are carried out. The switching is carried out between the fast forwarding and rewinding by operating a changeover lever 51 to make the lever 54 push up the slide 45. Thus the switching is possible with small load. |
