The additional emergency-opening device for the vehicle-door closure with retaining surfaces is an application of addition to the vehicle-door closure with retaining surfaces P 3907092.1 and is intended additionally to permit emergency opening of the door from the innerside and outerside. An emergency release part which can pivot about a bearing bolt is installed in a securing means accommodated in the door post, in the bodywork in the case of two-door vehicles. Said emergency release part bears, in the normal position, on the bearing surface of a cam. If, in the event of an emergency, this cam is rotated via a shaft, then the emergency release part pivots into the open position. An arresting means as a secure block is provided for the emergency opening, used seldom or never. The block is configured such that it can be easily opened even against a strong counter-force on the emergency-opening device. In the two exemplary embodiments described, in the event of an emergency, the additional emergency-opening devices are driven by in each case one gear motor and are supplied by NC high-current cells. The door, or the doors, may be closed again after emergency opening.
