The stub pipe (3) for the reception of the filter bag (1) has an inner dia. (d) and has an outer contour matching the opening of the filter bag. The expansion piece (5) pushed in to the inside of the stub pipe (3) produces a secure and sealing connection between the stub pipe and the filter bag (2). The outside dia. of the expansion piece is larger than the inner dia. (d) of the pipe stub in the region of the elastic section. The stub pipe (3) has a bulge (7) around its circumference, which in the pushed on position of the filter bag (1) engages the filter bag edge surrounding the opening. USE/ADVANTAGE - Fixing system for vacuum cleaner filter bag. Tight fixing is ensured independent of outer contour of filter bag. Filter bag does not stick on its entire surface to filter paper. Simplifies prodn. and makes possible use of smaller filter bag.
