PURPOSE:To enable to detect the leakage of a cooling medium or an insulating medium, by mounting a container which is filled with the insulating medium and the cooling medium in a tank, and detecting the difference between the pressure in the tank and the pressure in the container. CONSTITUTION:The container 20 is mounted in the tank 1. The container 20 is filled with the non-condensing insulating medium 4 and the condensing cooling medium 5 as in the tank 1. A pressure gauge 21 is connected to the container 20. The pressure in the tank 1 of the transformer is the sum of the pressure of the medium 4 and the vapor pressure of the medium 5. The temperature of the container 20 is about the same as that in the tank 1. Therefore the pressure in the container is the same as the pressure in the tank 1. By observing both pressures by the pressure gauges 13 and 21, it can be judged that whether the transformer is normally operated or not. |
