<p>PURPOSE:To install a connector or the like without considering its facing direction by making the outer periphery of a receptacle in a round shape and providing data means in the ring shape on the outer periphery of the receptacle. CONSTITUTION:The outer periphery of a receptacle of an electrofusion joint 1 is formed in the round shape and ring-shaped channels 6 are formed on the outer peripheral surface at proper interval. Applying time is found by the data thus provided. Micro-switches 5 engaging the channels 6 are installed on a connector 4. As data means formed with said channels 6 is of ring shape, a sensor can read the data means regardless of the facing direction of the connector 4, and based on said data, the applying time is determined. The data can be read securely regardless of the direction of installation, which eliminates the necessity of considering the facing direction.</p> |
