The synchronised link has two halves (10,40) joined respectively to a first (12), and second (42) shaft. A first hinge (18) is movably linked to the first half (10) by means of a first pivot pin (20) and extending through a slit (22) in the first hinge (18). A second hinge (48) is pivot linked to a second pivot pin (50) on the second link half (40) and extends through a slit (52) in the second hinge part (48). An intermediate piece (70) is movably joined to the first hinge (18) on a first axle (80) and runs crosswise to the first pivot pin's (20) axis, and is movably joined to the second hinge (48) on a second axle (82) parallel to the first axle (80) and crosswise to the second pivot pin's (50) axis. The shafts (12,42) have axes intersecting the two pivot axles' (80,82) plane of symmetry (94) of the intermediate piece (70). USE/ADVANTAGE - The fixed link avoids cross-forces through wrong alignment.
