Mfr. process for twin-chamber pressure pack - involves inner and other bodies with turned-in flanged edge

When making a twin-chamber pressure pack with an outer body (1) enclosing the pressure-biassable inner body, an inner body (6) of fold-forming material is inserted through the opening (5) which has a flanged edge (10). Before adding the filling and attaching a valve in the mouth area the inner and outer bodies are connected together and have the flanged edge turned inwards. The cut edges are covered in the flanged edge. USE/ADVANTAGE - By turning the flanged edge inwards the contact heights can be more accurately determined and the resulting pack is absolutely tight.
