The mouthpiece (8) for a vacuum cleaner has an inner wet cleaning cushion (5), and an outer suction gap, together with fixtures which together with a separate unit for exchange of cleaning cushions allows an existing cushion to be dismantled and replaced by a new one. A separate fluid tank (3) allows cleaning soln. or rinsing water to be fed or sucked up continuously to and from the cushion. - The mouthpiece has an opposing feed mouthpiece which effects carpet vacuum cleaning, and also enables a special dry cushion to be fitted so that a change between wet and dry use can take place. In the unit for exchange of cushions, a permanent magnet can be fitted, the tractive force of which reduces the pressure force required for pressing fluid out of the cushion. |
