PURPOSE:To extend a temp. range in which the volume of a dielectric porcelain compsn. in nearly independent of temp. by blending (BaPb)TiO3 having a specified alkali metal content, a specified compsn. and a specified grain size as a principal component with specified amts. of Nb2O3, Co2O3 and Nd2O3 and/or SiO2 as secondary components. CONSTITUTION:This dielectric porcelain compsn. is based on (BaPb)TiO3 contg. <=0.04wt.% alkali metals as impurities and having <=0.7mum grain size and a compsn. represented by a formula (Ba1-xPbx)yTiO3 (where (x) is 0.03 to 0.07 and (y) is 0.98 to 1.02) and contains Nb2O3, Co2O3 and Nd2O3 and/or SiO2 as secondary components by 1.0 to 2.5 pts.wt., 0.1 to 0.8 pt.wt. and 0.05 to 1.0 pt.wt., respectively, per 100 pts. wt. (BaPb)TiO3. The volume of this compsn. at 25 deg.C changes within + or -15% in the temp. range of -55 to 150 deg.C. |
