A solar house tries to combine all experience collected in utilizing the solar heat, by modular structural elements, room design and room utilization. One of the main features is the transparent semicylindrical roof which can be tilted in e the N-S direction and is made as a shell of glass fibre reinforced PLEXIGLAS (RTM). Its horizontal projection is 16x30 m and ithas in the northern centre a sliding sunshine roof of 7x8 m. The inclination of the ridge in the N-S direction can be varied from 7 to 30 deg.C. ADVANTAGE - Suchs house supplies enough energy for the energy for the entire building and to supply surplus electricity to the public mains. This is done by solar cell generators under the roof.
