The template (3) is clamped onto the upper surface of the work-piece and is located relative to the work by the stops (8). Shown at (5) are guide holes pitched according to the holes to be machined. In the floor of the central channel (13) are clearance holes for the drill or cutter, again pitched according to the holes to be machined. The drill is positioned by a feeler rod, which is fixed on the drill head parallel to the drill axis and which is guided into the holes (5) as the drill head is moved manually from one machining position to the next.
