Analysing material composition of specimens - measuring heat added or removed to produce temp. changes over temp. range-contg. phase change
摘要
The temp. of each specimen under investigation is varied over the temp. range contg. a phase transition by adding or removing heat. The quantity of heat required for a defined temp. change is measured and used as a function of the specimen composition depending on its temp. at the beginning or end of the process. The time for a defined temp. step to occur is determined for a given heating or cooling power. The measuring system comprises a heater (4) and an electronic circuit (5-9) evaluating a signal from a thermo-element. USE/ADVANTAGE - For low cost analysis of composition of specimens with at least one phase transition in defined temp. range.
