摘要 The connection concerns the field of measuring techniques. It solves the problem of the conversion of higher frequency AC voltage to a number. The merit of the solution is based on the usage of the rectifier, comparator and feedback loop, which sets the same voltage on the second inverting input of the comparator as on the non-inverting input, where the input voltage is conducted. The comparator controls the counting direction of the counter, which is connected to the digital-to-analogue converter, and the content of the counter increases or decreases at each pulse according to whether the voltage on the inverting input of the comparator is higher or lower than the input voltage. The advantage of the abovementioned converter is the fact that it enables the precise measurement of higher frequency AC voltages, while the requirements are laid only on the comparator in reference to the speed because other circuits are digital or operate with slowly changing signals. The AC voltage-to-number converter can be used wherever it is needed to measure the amplitude of higher frequency alternating signals with pin-point accuracy.<IMAGE>
