<p>PURPOSE:To attain power compensation without providing an exclusive energy storage means by using power generated by means of the rotation inertial force of magnetic disk devices at the time of service interruption. CONSTITUTION:The subject processor is constituted of an information processor mainbody system 1, a power source 2, a converter 3 and the magnetic disk devices 40-40n. Normally, power is supplied from the power source 2 to the mainbody system 1 and the magnetic disk devices 40-4n. When AC power supplied to the power source 2 is interrupted, an emergency signal 23 is transmitted from the power source 2 to the mainbody system 1 and the converter 3. The converter 3 transmits power obtained from the driving motors of the magnetic disk devices 40-4n to the mainbody system 1, and the mainbody system 1 saves data required for starting at the time of restoring AC power. Thus, power can be compensated for saving information required for the starting of the system at the time of service interruption.</p> |
