The self-adhesive asphalt roofing serves for the insulation of inclined roofs. The roofing consists of a support layer, insulation layers and a protection layer. The asphalt insulation and adhesive matter contains petroleum asphalt with a penetration of 10 to 200 l/10 mm at 25 degrees C, 4,0 to 15,0 % by weight of butadiene styrene thermoplastic rubber with 15 to 30 % by weight of styrene, 0,1 to 1,0 % by weight of polyethylene with a melt flow index 100 to 400 g/10 min., 0,1 to 6,0 % by weight of polypropylene with a dynamic viscosity at 180 degrees C 100 to 800 mPa, 0,1 to 5 % by weight of colophony, 5,0 to 60 % by weight of micro-serpentinite or slate powder.
