The solution concerns the coil with an enlarged cooling area for synchronous machines with salient poles and it solves the problem of saving material of the conductors and also that of a constructional character. The problem is solved by the fact that notches are created on the outer surface of the coil from the conductors of the same width. Their bent is independent of the bent of the conductors along the coil and of the thickness of the conductors.<IMAGE>
