DEVICE AND METHOD OF THICKENED MUSTS AND OTHER SUBSTRATES DESULPHURIZATION BY MEANS OF FLUIDIZATION REACTOR

The heat-pressure method of desulphurisation of concentrated musts and other substrates with a reversed catching of SO2 via adsorption in activated sodium layers, in a fluid reactor. The desulphurised substrate is heated to the desired temperature using a heating coil. For displacement and outlet of the SO2, pressurized nitrogen is used or another carrier gas that is lead to the bottom of the absorption tank through a fine frit. The released SO2 diffuses into a considerable amount of bubbles and the carrier gas current transfers it through the separation tank to the fluid reactor. In the reactor the adsorption of SO2 is made on particles of the activated NaHCO3 that are kept in a fluid layer. In the reactor the SO2 is caught in the form of a salt that can be used again in viniculture for sulphurisation.<IMAGE>
