PURPOSE: To minimize a risk of leak by preventing liquid from possible free passage of the skin by forming at least one adjacent line obtainable by compression along each longitudinal fringe of a pad main body. CONSTITUTION: A pad 30 having an upper and lower fringes 16 and 17, both slender and round in shape, is equipped with a body-fluid absorbent front sheet 1 and an absorbent element or absorbent core 3 and a body-fluid non-absorbent lined sheet. Further, a pair of elastic elements 6 and 6' positioned adjacent to respective longitudinal fringes 18 and 19 of the pad 30, are arranged and also compressive lines 10, 11, 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, 13a & 13b are formed, as a result of which when in use, the pad 30 is compressed to the center portion by the thighs of a user forcing the material contained between the two lines 10 and 11 toward the body of the user utilizing the material for absorption by approaching the point of secretion and preventing the possible free passages for leak of liquid to the skin, thus keeping the risk of leak to a minimum.
