<p>PURPOSE:To improve the steering stability and riding comfortableness of vehicles by installing valve bodies on a plunger, and generating damping force with damping force generating mechanisms which control the flow of hydraulic liquid in passages opened by the valve bodies. CONSTITUTION:Valve bodies 42, 43 cut off a bypass passage 13 when settled in a valve seat 40. No.1 valve body is always energized toward the valve seat 40 with No.1 spring member 46. Similarly, No.2 valve body 43 is always energized toward the valve seat 40 with No.2 spring member 47. A plunger 52 is inserted into a solenoid and a ring-shaped permanent magnet installed thereunder. Damping force is generated by damping force generating mechanisms 18, 20, 26, 38, 51 which control the flow of hydraulic liquid in passages 13 through 15 opened by the valve bodies 42, 43. Thus, the steering stability and the riding comfortableness of vehicles can be improved.</p> |
