PURPOSE:To prevent the production of a defectives due to weighing miss and to enable the automation by continuously supplying an adjuster of weight of thermosetting resin while weighing SMC which has been cut into prescribed dimension. CONSTITUTION:SMC 1 wherein the films 2, 2 covering both the surface and the rear thereof have been peeled is cut by a cutter 3 and transferred on a weigher 4. A filler 7 is mixed with thermosetting resin 8 by a screw-type feeder to obtain a weight adjusting material 9. This weight adjusting material 9 is supplied to the central part of the upper surface of SMC 1. When this adjusting material 9 reaches the required weight, supply from a mixer 6 is stopped. A controlling mechanism described hereunder is incorporated into an automatic adjusting machine 5. This controlling mechanism receives the data sent from the weigher 4 and stops the supply from the mixer 6. Then when SMC 1 reaches the required weight, it is introduced into a bottom force 11 of a matched die 10 which consists of the bottom force 11 and a top force 12 capable of being opened and closed and has been heated. This SMC 1 is pressurized and cured by closing the top force 12. |
