PURPOSE:To improve the control precision of the fuel injection quantity by constituting a valve opening accumulator chamber with the first accumulator chamber and the second accumulator chamber communicated to it via a throttle passage, and communicating the first accumulator chamber to a shuttle valve opening pressure chamber. CONSTITUTION:The valve opening accumulator chamber 53 of a shuttle valve 5 is constituted of the first accumulator chamber 531 communicated to a shuttle valve opening pressure chamber 514 and the second accumulator chamber 533 communicated to it via a throttle passage 532. When the fuel feed from a fuel governing/metering feed device 1 to an injection pump 6 is completed and a plunger 62 is pressed down and the internal pressure of a shuttle valve chamber 511 is increased and a shuttle valve body 52 is moved in th valve closing direction, the pressure rise of the second accumulator chamber 523 is later than the pressure rise of the first accumulator chamber 531, thus the moving speed of the shuttle valve body 52 can be made optimum. After a shuttle valve port 523 is closed, the shuttle valve 5 is surely moved to the valve closing terminal position additionally via the closing position of a pre-injection valve port 82, and two-stage injection is surely performed. The control precision of the fuel injection quantity can be improved. |
