<p>Camshaft for a single-camshaft engine, of the type incorporating a phase-shift device. It comprises a central shaft (2), bearings (4,6,8,10,12) for guiding this shaft and for the lateral positioning of the cams, phase-shift rings (14), cams (18), each equipped with a phase-shift ramp (16), and a phase-shift piston (26) capable of driving the central shaft in translational movement.
