Possibility of its use is in plants producing mineral chemical agents, in tanneries and in the basic fur industry. It solves the stabilization of combined chemical agents with chromium and aluminium salts by organic substances with hydroxyl groups on neighbouring carbons, for example polyols, saccharides. A combined chemical agent on the basis of aluminium and chromium salts containing eventually acidity binding substances in the amount up to 10 % by weight in a dry matter of the product is characteristic by the fact that it contains the stabilizing agent of the following formula <IMAGE>, where n = 2 to 6 and where in two neighbouring carbons with the hydroxyl group the relative position of -OH groups is not relevant and where R1, R2 is: -H, or COOH, or -CHO, or -CO-CH2OH, or -CmH2m-<1'>, or -CmH2m-<1'>, or -CmH2m-1, where m = 1 to 6, in the amount of 0.2 to 3 moles to 1 mol of aluminium and chromium metals contained in the mixture.
