PURPOSE:To feed the air into a combustion chamber in the low-opening area of a throttle valve with a simple structure by providing an opening/closing valve opened or closed in response to the operation state of a bypass passage connecting the upstream portion of the throttle valve and a pressure regulating tank. CONSTITUTION:Each ordinary suction passage section 16 on the downstream side of a throttle valve 20 is connected to a pressure regulating tank 31 via a communicating path 32, and a control valve 33 increasing the opening in the low-opening area of the throttle valve 20 is provided on the communicating path 32. A single bypass passage 34 connecting the upstream portion of the throttle valve 20 on either ordinary suction passage section 16 and the pressure regulating tank 31 is provided, and an opening/closing valve 35 opened or closed in response to the operation state of an engine and at least controlling the feed air quantity when the throttle valve 20 is closed is provided on the bypass passage 34. The control valve 33 and the opening/ closing valve 35 are controlled by a computer M. When the opening/closing valve 35 is opened while the throttle valve 20 is closed, a preset quantity of air can be fed to the combustion chamber 13 of each cylinder via the bypass passage 34, pressure regulating tank 31 and communicating path 32. |
