<p>PURPOSE:To perform screen editing, etc., efficiently by scrolling a window automatically in a direction where a cursor position exceeds a window frame if the cursor position exceeds the window frame. CONSTITUTION:A cross cursor 14 is displayed at a position (CX, CY) in a screen which is set in horizontal and vertical cursor(CS) registers(RG) 18 and 20 and one picture is so displayed that an address Ha on a VRAM 12 set to a home address RG 22 corresponds to the home position at the left upper corner of the screen. Therefore, the screen is scrolled by modifying the contents HA of the RG 22. The set quantities of automatic X- and Y-directional scrolling quantities are a half as large as the sides of the screen frame. When a CS141 on an initial picture ABQI is moved right and a CS142 comes onto an IQ, a right movement CS control key is operated to scroll the screen automatically, thereby obtaining a JLQOH. Then a down movement CS control key is operated to put a CS143 on an LO and the down key is further operated to scroll the screen to a position KMNP.</p> |
