EPOXY RESIN FOR PREPARING ELECTRIC LAMINATES

The disclosure relates to an epoxy resin composition and to a process for preparing electric laminates therefrom. The epoxy resin composition contains an epoxy resin, a solvent and a curing agent which is the reaction product of a hexaalkyl ether of a methylolmelamine of the general formula in which each R is independently an alkyl radical of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, with a polyhydric phenol and if desired a monohydric phenol, the phenol compound(s) being used in an amount such as to produce a ratio of at least one reactive phenolic hydroxyl group for every alkoxy group.
