PURPOSE:To detect a rotating position stably and surely without effecting any initial operation again even when the title motor is stopped in a condition that a power source is being thrown by providing a counter, inputting a rotation signal and counting the amount of rotation from the initial position of a rotor to present. CONSTITUTION:When the speed of a rotor 1 becomes a given value, rotation pulses P1, P2 from an encoder 9 within an unit time are counted to obtain the rotating angular speed of the rotor 1. When the counting is finished, deceleration exciting is effected by conducting reversely or the like to brake the rotor and the conduction of the rotor is stopped to stop the rotation of the rotor 1. In this case, the number of rotation of the rotor 1 during a time from the starting of conduction to the stop of the rotor 1 is detected by counting the rotating signal pulses P1, P2 from the encoder 6. According to this method, a rotating position signal may be obtained. |
