OBSTACLE CLEARING DEVICE FOR AERIAL CABLE LAYING

PURPOSE:To make it possible to surmount an obstacle by axially jointing a fastener to a towrope to which a cable to be stringed is installed to a rotor having an outside circumference where an opening to take in a lengthy obstacle is provided, and by jointing a rotating supporter to fit into the rotor to the supporting column. CONSTITUTION:A towrope fastener 3 to an end of which a rotor 1 and a towrope 6 are secured is jointed at an axis so that the position of the towrope 6 can be kept in a definite direction even in the rotation of the rotor 1. A lengthy obstacle 8 is taken in with an opening 5 of the rotor 1 in the horizontal direction. The obstacle 8 is then pushed directly into the opening 5 so that the rotor 1 can rotate towards a rotor supporter 2 i.e., counterclockwise to move the whole position of an obstacle clearing device and the rotor 1 is rotated about half a revolution. Unillustrated cables jointed to the towrope 6 clearing the obstacle 8 can thereby be extended by the towrope 6.
