PURPOSE:To restrain unnecessary electric power by providing a first timer, bringing a starting circuit into non-operating condition, and a second timer, starting the operation of an abnormality protecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:An inverter device is constituted of a DC power source E, an inverter 1 and a load circuit 2, to which the high-frequency power of the inverter 1 is supplied. The inverter 1 is constituted of switching elements Q1, Q2, an oscillation control circuit 3 for the switching elements Q1, Q2 and a control power source circuit 5 while the inverter 1 is provided with a starting circuit 4 and an abnormality protecting circuit 6, stopping the oscillation of the starting circuit 4. Further, the inverter 1 is provided with a first timer circuit 7, bringing the starting circuit 4 into non-operating condition after a given time from the thrown-in of the power source E, and a second timer circuit 8, starting the operation of the abnormality protecting circuit 6 after said given time is elapsed. |
