Improved Fishing Lure A novel fishing lure is disclosed having a lure body, a mounting means located on a surface of the lure and a rudder attached to the mounting means which stabilizes the lure as it is retrieved through water by the fisherman. The preferred lure is in the shape of a spoon. By placing the mounting means and rudder on the spoon, the lure demonstrates an unexpected motion from side-to-side in combination with an up and down movement as it travels through water. In addition, a novel scent pod is disclosed which attaches to the mounting means, and is interchangeable, to in effect, impart different scents to the lure. By changing the scent pod, different baitfish are simulated to attract game fish.
