There is a requirement for a simple way of indicating the operating state of a solenoid-controlled valve. The magnetic field of the solenoid can be indicated using an indicator consisting of a small annular permanent magnet 1 which, with a gap 4, is arranged rotatably about a bar 3. The indicator is placed on or in close proximity to the coil in the solenoid valve. If current is supplied to the solenoid coil, imbalance will arise in the influence of the magnetic field of the solenoid coil on the annular magnet 1 in relation to the bar 3 depending on the gap 4, and the annular magnet will begin to rotate. The casing 5 of the magnet 1 can be entirely or partly transparent. The magnet 1 can be two-coloured in order for its rotation to be more clearly visible. <IMAGE> |
