A cleansing cream compsn. contains 2.0-3.0 wt.% monostearic acid polyethylene glycol (I) and 4.0-6.0 wt.% isostearylpalmitate (II). (I) is produced by addition-reacting stearic acid with ethyleneoxide in the presence of alkali catalyst at 180 deg.C or more. (II) is produced by esterifying isostearylalcohol with palmitic acid. The compsn. has a good clearing effect for a make-up cosmetic material.
